Chess Tournament Among Employees of the Institute of Mathematics

Today, a blitz chess tournament was held among the employees of the Institute of Mathematics. Ten participants were divided into two groups, competing in a round-robin format within each group. The games were played under the 5 minutes + 2 seconds time control rule.

The players who secured the top two spots in their respective groups advanced to the semi-finals. At the conclusion of the tournament:

• Samandar Samiyevich Babayev was crowned the champion for the month of November.

• Sarvarbek Zafar o‘g‘li Polvonov, who reached the final, took second place.

• Davrbek Oltiboyev claimed third place after winning the bronze medal match.
